Trust Board Member Scott Mclachlan is well on his way in his Walk around the country to visit all 92 League clubs in order to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. Last week he visited Bristol and was invited by the Clubs Community and Fans Liaison Officer, David Lloyd, to join in a meeting with himself and the Bristol City Trust board to find out how they were getting on.
Scott said "The meeting was chaired by Miles Hendy who is Vice Chair of the Trust and it was interesting for myself to see another Trust in action and to see what problems they are facing.
As with my time with the Plymouth Trust in September I could have spent hours talking to them about Trust business and the problems facing Trusts around the country but after a short time of answering and asking questions most people had homes to go to.
Bristol City is lucky in that it has a very good Community arm that is successful in reaching 50k children a season and is a great advert for a Football Club achieving things and benefitting its surrounding area.
The Trust is also looking in good shape with a vibrant and interested Board so I wish them and the Football Club every success in the future."
Scott continues his Walk on Wales this week and is scheduled to meet the Cardiff and Swansea Trusts on the way.
