Pompey Remembrance Service

Added on 28 October 2021

This Saturday is the annual remembrance fixture, chosen as the closest home league game to Armistice Day.

This year's service has been organised in conjunction with the Pompey Armed Forces Supporters Club and the Pompey Pals.

The service will start at 1445 and will be attended by the Royal Marines Band and, due to Covid restrictions, a limited number of service personnel. Fans are asked to get to Fratton Park a little earlier on Saturday so that they can be in place for the commencement of the service.

Once the service starts, please remain silent throughout the ceremony until the Bugler sounds the "Reveille" and the band marches from the field. It is especially important that the silence after the last post is sounded is respected, and please do not applaud during the service or before the band leaves the field.
