Without the PST, Portsmouth Community Football Club wouldn’t exist today.  In this section of our website we will be telling the story of the PST and recognising those people who were instrumental in our development from Day 1.

Overview, by Jo Collins

“Jo - I’d like you to provide me with a summary of the history of the PST for inclusion on our website”, said John Kimbell, the current PST Media Manager.  “Can you put together about 500 words for me please” he went on to say.  To be honest, If he’d offered me 5,000 words it still wouldn’t be enough to include everyone and everything that happened during the conception, gestation and birth of what has become well known in football circles as the Pompey Supporters Trust or PST for short.

So, instead, we agreed that instead we would create a dedicated section on the PST website where I would provide a series of articles to give people some background to the PST – because a small group of people were very active well before our now well documented (successful) day in court on April 19th 2013.
