NOTICE IS GIVEN that the THIRTEENTH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the Society will be held in the Victory Lounge, and via Zoom, on Thursday, 17 November 2022 at 7.00pm (doors open at 6.30pm). Agenda and Annual Report 2022 to be published on Thursday, 10 November 2022 at http://www.pompeytrust.com

REGISTRATION LINK AND TICKET RESERVATION (EVENTBRITE)
Members will have received the registration and ticket reservation link on Thursday, 3 November 2022. Some members reported that the link was not working properly. The link is now working and was relaunched at 3pm today.

 

CALLING NOTICE: MOTIONS FOR THE PST AGM ON THURSDAY, 17 NOVEMBER 2022
All Motions, including motions to amend rules, must be submitted in accordance with rule 49. Motions must be submitted by Thursday, 10 November 2022 to the PST Secretary at [email protected]

 

MOTIONS
“A resolution of a general meeting is a motion that has been previously circulated to the membership and approved by a quorate meeting of the PST Board; and by a simple majority of members present and voting except as provided elsewhere in the Society’s rules. Any motion submitted by a member/s to the Society AGM will be circulated to all members of the Society not less than five working days before the day fixed for the meeting.”

 

MOTIONS TO THE PORTSMOUTH SUPPORTERS’ SOCIETY LTD 13th AGM ON THURSDAY, 17 NOVEMBER 2022
Motions should be no more than 150 words; and begin with the words “This Society” and conclude with “This AGM instructs the PST Board to”. 

Example;

House of Commons Motion on Racism in Football – (EDM) 09 June 2021

“This House applauds […] Gareth Southgate and his players for their principled opposition to racism; stands in solidarity with all football players and supporters who have been subjected to racism, while participating in the sport they love or in other areas of their life; recognises that those players and their manager are role models for the entire country and that their actions have a large impact on wider society; believes taking the knee to be an honourable and important act, worthy of such role models; thanks players, supporters and those in the wider football community and industry who have stood […] against all forms of racism; […] and calls on those in football management, media, sponsorship, breweries and pub landlords to stand up as anti-racists and take a robust approach to that behaviour.”

“This house calls on the Prime Minister to make a statement in support of anti-racism in football” (150 words).
