Phil was elected to the PST board in 2016.
Born at St Mary's hospital, he is a lifelong Pompey fan and a season ticket holder in the Fratton End. After living in London for most of his adult life, Phil has managed to cut down his travel to games by moving to within walking distance of Fratton Park.
A trust member from the beginning, Phil was part of the team that handed out flyers and talked to supporters in and around the ground about why they should join up. He also built and managed the Community Pompey website, which was used to launch the club share offer. Phil is a strong believer in fan involvement and ownership in football, and was privileged to have been asked to speak at the launch of Charlton Athletic's supporters' trust.
Phil's roles within the trust include managing communications with the help of Donald Vass and Ashley Brown. He maintains the website, and handles enquiries from members and supporters. Phil is also a member of the Election Management Group.
With more than 15 years' experience of the charity and non-profit sector, Phil works for a marketing agency providing websites and digital services to a variety of national charities.
